Prof Afe Adogame PhD
Professor Afe Adogame is a Senior Lecturer in World Christianity & Religious Studies at the University of Edinburgh and is equally the coordinator of the African Forum Scotland Centre for Policy, Research and Development. His work at the University includes Convener, School of Divinity Ethics in Research Committee; Member of University Central Committee on Africa; College of Humanities and Social Science Research Ethics Committee; CHSS Contribution Reward Panel; School of Divinity Research Committee; School of Divinity Scholarship (2008-2011); Centre for the Study of World Christianity Committee; School Board of Examiners; School Board of Studies; School Planning and Resources; Edinburgh Research on Religion and Society. In Addition he holds a variety of editorial and peer review positions within the wider community including: Deputy Editor, Journal of Religion in Africa (Brill) 2013-, Associate Editor, Studies Expert Peer Reviewer, Economic and Social Research Council, UK 2013; Expert Peer Reviewer, National Research Foundation, South Africa 2013, Expert Scientific Reviewer & Evaluator, Swiss National Science Foundation, 2012, Research Project Evaluator, and The Israel Science Foundation, 2010. He is also Associate Editor, Studies in World Christianity (Edinburgh University Press). He has written and edited several books and has published over 48 research papers. As Associated and Supervisory Staff at the Centre of African Studies at the University of Edinburgh, he teaches African Religions & Cosmologies in the MSc in Africa Programme.
